"It is a point of pride for our managers"
If you’re not already a fan of New England oysters, a visit to Island Creek Oyster Bar (ICOB) may just change that. Owned and run by Island Creek Oysters, a local oyster farm, raw bar fare doesn't get fresher than ICOB’s.
In their own words...
"If we could eat oysters and drink beer for every meal period, we probably would. Professionals Only."
As New England coast-dwellers ourselves (Katama Bay oysters rock!) we have been thrilled to work with our neighbors at ICOB on their own custom journals. According to ICOB's Director of Communications, Jeni Delgado...
"I wanted to send the couples who held their weddings at our restaurants a one-year anniversary gift, so we came up with sending a custom notebook with our logo and their wedding date."
ICOB was just the first of Island Creek Oysters’ eateries. The family has recently grown to include Row 34 in Boston’s Seaport District, Les Sablons in Cambridge’s historic Harvard Square, as well as others, all with a focus on fresh, local seafood and craft beer.
Though the team has grown, the close-knit family atmosphere is stronger than ever.
"We went through a little spree of opening restaurants and wanted to give the team something that would bring them together, feel special, and be proud of, while also being productive, so we custom made the notebooks, with their restaurant's logo for the opening process."
We really enjoyed helping the ICOB team see their projects evolve from concepts to finished journals. They are a friendly and creative bunch and a pleasure to work with; it sounds like the feeling was mutual.
"You have been one of the easiest, if not the easiest vendor to work with in terms of quality of the product, professionalism, response time, and turn around time on items. The process from initial request, quotation of order, product proof and delivery, is seamless and easy."
Thanks ICOB!
